John Anderson graduated from UCLA School of Law with a J.D. in 2000. Mr. Anderson has focused his career on creating affordable solutions for people and businesses faced with the hardships of dealing with bankruptcy.
Prior to law school, Mr. Anderson was in the U.S. Peace Corps where he spent two years as a volunteer teacher on the island of Santo Antão, the second most distant inhabited island of Cape Verde. Throughout his legal career, Mr. Anderson has been an advocate for those in need. Mr. Anderson spent several years working as a law clerk with the L.A. City Attorney’s office and Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County. He represented low income clients in employment (unemployment benefits) , fair housing, landlord tenant, public benefits (Social Security and SSI) legal matters, and other consumer bankruptcies.
Since joining Waltzer Law Group in 2005, Mr. Anderson has continued to work with and for those in need. He is the supervising attorney in WLG’s Los Angeles office.
